Nikola Jokić

Nikola Jokić is a generational basketball center and one of the most uniquely skilled playmakers in NBA history. Born in Sombor, Serbia, he developed his craft playing in European youth leagues before being drafted by the Denver Nuggets with the 41st overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft—famously selected during a commercial break. Over an illustrious career spent entirely with Denver, he has captured multiple NBA regular-season MVP awards, an NBA Championship in 2023, and a Finals MVP, establishing himself as the fulcrum of the Nuggets' offense. His extraordinary strengths center on his historic court vision and passing wizardry from the center position, an exceptionally high basketball IQ, an unstoppable, high-arcing "Sombor Shuffle" jump shot, and elite efficiency as a scorer, rebounder, and triple-double machine.
